Small Biz Pop-Up

Hey all, set up shop at Recreative Spaces for the Small Business Saturday pop-up put on by Kat's Korner.  Below are a few pics.  I was mostly selling zines and making holiday action portraits for folks.  If you're looking for a unique holiday art piece for a good price- get in touch! dccreeper1 at gmail.  Quick, easy, fun, and I could use the monies.  Cheers, Eric

Pancake You Two

The Creeper participated in Pancakes and Booze at Penn Social again.  Not going to lie to you.  This is a strange show to do, but I had a really good time rapping with folks and I even swapped high fives with some of the other artists.  One thing is for sure.  Pancakes and Booze.  That's two things.  Hope to see you next time.

For the artwork I had a wall of four acrylics that employ the paint peelings collage I've been developing.  For the action portraits this time around I tried to mix and match mediums so no two would look alike.  It was challenging and by the third hour my mind was a little shook from having too many art tools to juggle.  Next time I bring less and try to work a break in there at some point.

Till next time.

Cartoonists Draw Blood in NW DC

Met some lovely bleeders for some voluntary blood donation via the Red Cross and Palisades Community Church in NW DC.  Myself and fellow Cartoonists Draw Blood alums (Carolyn, Joe, Troy, Joe, Steven, and Art) donated art-making time and here are several my works from the day.

Because a dog happened.

Liz and I got deep.

This guy was from L.A. so therefore this.

Tell me you garden flowers and I put them on your head.

Not really sure what happened here, but I like it.

Skull, obviously.

P.S. Don't forget about the art show in Mt. Ranier at ReCreative Spaces.  Opening night party with badassassins and Vinyl Vagabonds is October 28th!

Pancakes and Creeps

I participated in "Pancakes and Booze" at Penn Social a few months back.  Here are a few of the folks that sat in for some creepin' and conversation.

My favorite drawing of the night

These two just would not stay still.  Too many pancakes?

Final creep of the night

Also, a little sample of one of my paintings I had hanging up

Recent Works

Taco Cat

A number of friends have reached out from abroad asking to see some of the recent work I've been showing.  This is the most current stuff.  Canvas are all from the current series of work depicting mostly local musicians in action and the mixed media collages are each their own thing.  I think of the collages as more work samples for commissions (Portraiture, event capture, and street art) and if you are interested send me a line dccreeper1 at gmail.  Turnaround time on the smaller projects is very quick and priced affordable.  Very giftable.

Most of these are currently on view in my studio in Mt. Ranier.  If you're interested in checking them (as well as several others) out, get in touch.

Working on a few very large canvases at the moment.  Stay tuned.
