Sketch Lounge Peoples

The Creeper investigated the semi-annual "Sketch Lounge" in Adams Morgan.  Set in a spot called Hierarchy, a sly little basement gallery/bar.  The place was sardined with super talented and hep folks doing their thing.  Art of all sorts was being sketched with talent ranging from moderate to mind blowing.  Hannah Dean gets a shout out because she's of the latter category.  And there was pizza.  Here's what some of the creeped look like.
Frank protects people from getting roofied.  Cool by me.

Jessica was painting her ass off.  Beautiful.

Had a spontaneous "draw off" with Shoe Man.  Think we all know who took the title.

Shoe Man's drawings.  What's with the monster hand?

Thomas digs art.  He was in good company.

Kefa Crew

Fun pics from the DC Creepers" reception at Kefa in February.  It was jammed!  And also a tiny space so... DOUBLE JAMMED!  Thanks everyone who made it out for a creep or just to chill.
Last creeps of the night.  The creeper was toast.

We had a draw off.  Very cool to do this with somebody you don't know.

These guys are awesome!

One of the weirder drawings of the night, and def the best quote.

Awesome sauce!

Matt classes up the joint.

These guys were hilarious and so incredibly into it.

Feta!

Creeping Every Day: Sketching Without Being Too Sketchy

DC Creepers (which is me, Eric) will have a solo art show Jan 20th-Feb 28th at the warm and friendly Space 7:10 which is tucked into Kefa Cafe in Silver Spring. I'll be there for two distinct events during the month and a half long show.

Much of the show is never before displayed paintings, drawings, and collage including the "Beauty at the End of All Things" series which has been in the works for a number of years.
Don't not be a creep.  Come and check it out.

January 20th - February 28th, 2015
Space 7:10 @ Kefa Cafe
963 Bonifant Street
Silver Spring, MD

"Creeper" Drawing Workshop
Friday - January 30th
7:10pm-8:30pm
I'll be leading a "Creeper" drawing workshop. All supplies provided by me and all skill levels are welcome. It's an all age appropriate workshop, but if you're bringing a young person they should be at least somewhat accustomed to the idea of drawing from life and be a little fearless. It should be a fun time. You might even learn sumthin'.

Reception
Friday - February 13th
6:30pm-8:30pm
Friday, February 13th from 6:30pm-8:30pm for the main reception. Refreshment provided and maybe I'll even bring some surprises.

Olive Lounge Pop-Up

Out of a very lousy week came a pop-up art corner of creeper paintings and drawings.  Come and see and stick around for the good eats and drinks.

Olive Lounge in Takoma Park is where it be.

Cheers,
The Creeper

P.S.  I'll plan a creeping session or two there in the near future just for kicks.

Feral Faro

Here are a few character panels from my comic "Feral Faro".  These panels are part of my submission for the western themed issue of Magic Bullet (number nine to be precise) that should be hitting newsstands (DC area comic stores and other fine retailers) over the summer.  Drop me a line if you hand in getting your hands on one.  Cheers.
